Where it disappoints people
The recurring theme in negative feedback is expectation rather than performance. Someone treats a panel that had already rusted through and hoped chemistry would bridge the hole. It cannot, and no converter can.
The second theme is a skipped step: topcoating before the 24-hour cure, or applying over a greasy underbody. Both show up weeks later as blistering, and both are avoidable in ten extra minutes.
